Most companies are lucky enough to have a clear mission, let alone a reason for being, but Norwalk-based Inspira Marketing Group has both. Fueled by a purpose that goes beyond its services, Inspira is an experiential marketing agency that turns real-time insights into meaningful customer experiences while donating a portion of its profits to philanthropic causes.
Inspira’s culture of giving back was woven into the company from its inception. After watching his daughter, Kennedy, bravely battle childhood cancer, Jeff Snyder founded the agency in 2008. With Kennedy as his inspiration, Jeff placed living and working with purpose at the heart of Inspira’s mission. He vowed to put his ideals into action by giving back to the community and donating a portion of the company’s profits to fund childhood cancer research through Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. To date, the agency has donated over $1 million to the cause and provides pro-bono marketing and ongoing support to Alex’s Lemonade Stand initiatives.
The agency’s unique, purpose-driven mission has created a culture of excellence which attracts both top talent and an impressive client roster, including Diageo, Nestle, Henkel, Mondelez, and Microsoft, among other global leaders. The agency’s exceptional work has earned it multiple industry awards. This year alone, Inspira took home a Chief Marketer Pro Award, an Ex Award, and a coveted spot on the Event Marketer IT List. Additionally, for the past three years, Inspira has been named among the Top Places to Work in Connecticut by the Hartford Journal.

The agency now boasts four offices nationwide – South Norwalk, New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles – and 350 full-time employees.
Although the agency has a national presence, it is deeply invested in the Norwalk community. Each year, the company gives back to local causes through its annual Big Event initiative where teams of employees develop ideas to benefit the community. This summer, Inspira worked alongside P.A.W.S. of Norwalk, a no-kill animal shelter, to create a Four Legged 4K fundraiser and Yappy Hour. Together, the company’s employees helped the organization raise thousands of dollars, increased awareness about P.A.W.S. and its mission, and facilitated the adoption of multiple pets. Previous events included providing school supplies for underserved children in Norwalk and cheerfully decorating rooms in the children’s ward at Norwalk Hospital.
