Norwalk Community College (NCC) is working with Social Venture Partners (SVP) to redesign their Computer Science Guided Pathway to support the business requirements of area employers. Social Venture Partners is a venture philanthropy dedicated to closing the opportunity gap in Connecticut. An important part of this project is conducting interviews with Connecticut business leaders. These interviews will help NCC to identify the IT, business, and operations staffing needs of companies in Connecticut.
SVP and NCC will use these interviews with employers in the curriculum design for the NCC Guided Pathway in Computer Science. They also hope to identify companies interested in forming a partnership with the college to provide student internships and employment for its students. This is a great opportunity to join with other employers, like IBM, to influence and support the growth of Computer Science programs in Connecticut. The organizations are asking for one hour of time to conduct these interviews at the company locations. Please email Mark Argosh at: email@example.com if you would like to participate.
