A central objective of the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce is to provide varied and valuable benefits for its membership, enabling businesses to develop, advance and grow.
Networking |
The Chamber provides numerous networking opportunities for its members. The two major programs in this category are the Business After Hours and Networking Breakfast. The Chamber also takes part in regional multi-Chamber expos and networking events throughout the year. Although all Chamber events provide the opportunity to network, these programs emphasize this particular aspect, while also highlighting a hosting Chamber member.
|
Marketing Opportunities |
The Chamber offers members a variety of means by which to promote and market their business. Placing content in our monthly newsletter, acquiring a mailing list, placing ads in the annual directory or newsletter, and many other advertising opportunities are ways to help our members succeed. The Chamber also provides the opportunity for member profiles and member news in its newsletter, The Chamber Report, and e-newsletter, The Chamber E-port.
|
Valuable Programming |
The Chamber provides educational and informative seminars and programs throughout the year to build awareness on a myriad of topics, and to keep businesses abreast of issues and matters affecting their region and business community, such as the Economic Outlook Luncheon, Mayor’s State of the City, Regional Roundtable, various political forms and more.
|
Government Affairs |
The Chamber provides various programming in relation to government and politics, ranging from issue-focused forums to electoral debates. In addition, the Government Affairs Committee meets throughout the year to discuss issues and matters of concern on a local, state, and federal level. They also work with legislators and government officials to address targeted needs and goals within the business community.

Referrals |
The Chamber only recommends members in response to frequent referral requests, and encourages Chamber members to do business with other members whenever possible.
